Re: Depression/drugs
Also, he didn’t make a thread called “Depression/drugs” asking for help either. You may have taken it as a direct attack, but it’s really solid advice. Go out and experience things. Eat some real food and exercise. Surround yourself with positive people.

Re: Depression/drugs
High school's only going to get better, man. You're still a sophomore, let things go.
Come junior year, and things will change! People will look for you from colleges, teachers, and you will get opportunities for scholarships and more life! Come senior year, and that gets even better! Trust me, everyone goes through this kind of time in their lives. For me, it was junior year. It'll be over soon enough, just wait until you finish the year first. EDIT: Keep up the streak of not taking anything, that will only make your body and mind healthier!

Re: Depression/drugs
i really want to rip you out for saying this because it's the kind of contrived optimism that people hand out to convince themselves that they're good people but in your case i'm sure you actually believe it and that this is sort of magical pinpoint inflection in this persons life to which you are a glorious witness
seeing as on the continuum of 'holy shit i need help' asking for it on the internet in a community you've only been a part of for a small amount of is more or less the start - or perhaps something like the spongy top, he's likely got quite a few new worst days ahead of him Last edited by MinaciousGrace; 01-7-2018 at 04:14 PM.. |

The most logical approach for me in your situation would be: Make a plan on stopping depression/drugs. Use it as a reminder. Do an introspection about why you're depressed and find your motivation here. Change life habits step by step or drastically if you think you can do it. Quit drugs/drop quantity asap. Maintain better life habits. (working out/nutrition/sleeping well) Use harmless coping mechanisms/outlets if you need to. An example of outlet would be like writing a lot about how you feel and trying to make sense out of it in a productive way. Quit depression by actively doing actions to take care of yourself. It doesn't matter if it takes 2-3 weeks/months/years. It's worth it. |

Re: Depression/drugs
Flush all the drugs down the commode tell 'em Travis Flesher told ya to do it. Any other questions just ask me or some HxC brobros.
'Encyclopedia Brown and the Pill Poopchute' Deputy Sittenidle: You're being charged with a superfluous flush, plumb damage, and improper disposal. Unlikely Hero: I suppose you'll have to cite everyone that ever flushes a john or does the right thing now eh? Deputy Sittenidle: That's resisting, you're coming with me. *tases* Unlikely Hero: lol I'm a ninja. Hiyaa. \roundhouse kick taser disarmament\ Three more of the posse's boys show up. Unlikely Hero easily bests all of them in hand to hand combat and flees to a nearby wooded area where a heavily armed swat unit captures him 6 days later. General Bigchin: Son, what you did back there was honorable you're getting a commendation from President Donald J Trump. Unlikely Hero: thx sir yeah I knew they were just small town chump change and if I kept my head up and my nose clean the Supreme Court would serve justice. General: We need some relatable muscle like you to head up the D.A.R.E program are you up for the task? Hero: people's champ says flush 'em boyy! |

Been there done that. I now try to inspire others by showing them better ways of spending time and money and the thrill of being confident in righteousness.

Im 14, actually. I was 13 at the time I made this account and wasn't allowed to make one (rules lol) so I lied about my age. What? Don't act like you've never done that before.

Re: Depression/drugs
I think it would be in your best interest to stop using drugs regularly. I started smoking weed around your age and I think my short-term memory has been permanently affected by my smoking. If I could go back and start smoking at an older age, I would. because this is a problem that doesn't have a solution but I could have avoided it in the first place if I had known what would happen over time.
Have you actually used hard drugs? If so, I sincerely urge you to just quit cold turkey right now. It will only get harder the older and more dependent you become. I personally believe that it is incredibly difficult to overcome depression while using drugs. You need to devote all of your mind's energy to truly commit to healing and drugs take up too much of that thought space. |

Re: Depression/drugs
Try to hang out with your friends, share your problem with them. Try to take some vacation, go to a place wherein you can find relaxation.

Re: Depression/drugs
Shodzzy, you seem extremely intelligent amigo. If you have a keen interest in video games, freeing your mind, and finding an outlet in life I highly recommend exercise bro! Start lifting weights, running, hitting the gym. Drugs are literally a road to nowhere dude.... You will probably end up burning all ya bridges, no friends but druggies, and be homeless on skid row for real.
Like I said I can tell that you're a genius. If you're the type of person that has no interest in money or worldly things I understand totally, but take it from experience I was in the same place when I was your age bud. I wish I could have a re-do. Best thing to do is harness your abilities. Start speed reading, challenge yourself, reach new heights with exercise and push yourself to the limit physically and mentally. Do artwork, write, make step files, make rap beats on your computer, find activities in your community, play sports, become a pro youtuber! So many things out there that's worth it. Drugs are gonna turn ya teeth yellow, make ya ugly, shrivel ya junk, and disassociate ya from reality. If any of ya gotta drug problem or may be feelin depressed I challenge you right now to do something fun and creative like a stepfile or a YouTube video, exercise or art and post here showing what you've attempted and I'll give you 10,000 FFR credits.
