Re: TWG CXX: Villains United
I'm gonna go with Ursula as the liar.
If Sid is a wolf, then Darla is too, but she would have to be the godfather. But then it wouldn't be Muntz which doesn't make sense given his actions |

Re: TWG CXX: Villains United
Plus it literally does not make sense for Sid to class bomb for any reason

Re: TWG CXX: Villains United
hey guys
i completely believe this. bomb claim is a sensible choice for a hero who needs to claim something because it either forces the real bomb to out or buys the claimer time and credibility if theres no cc. the first claim looks bad because ursula wasnt in danger, and the cc looks good because sid wasnt in danger. bomb wants to stay hidden unless a claim will get a hero lynched |

Re: TWG CXX: Villains United
I really really think that because there are -FIVE- heros in this game, after two Hero lynches in a row, they're playing the game of banking on one UTR Hero riding the whole thing out.

shooting a villa would be way too risky as a plain hero since there's a cop (not that he could've known for sure at the time but it was highly likely) and possibly an oracle to check him |

Knowing that Muntz is a Hero gives us a lot more information simply because we can evaluate his posts and actions and interactions knowing that he'd be sharing info with his partners. |

Re: TWG CXX: Villains United
like my mind doesn't go to you being mafia b/c it doesn't make sense to do that as mafia; I have to assume you're trying to see who will react in what way

Re: TWG CXX: Villains United
Not sure why anybody would believe you when you were the first claim and got counterclaimed, except that the Heros actually have enough manpower to potentially sacrifice Sid because it gets you killed today, they wolf in the night, he goes the next day, and they wolf in the night again. 3 villains for 1 hero wouldn't normally be the best ratio but they'd still have 2 left.
Not saying I suspect Sid, just thinking of a rationale for why there's a chance he's the Hero even though he claimed second. It might well be worth sacrificing a Hero to know for a fact that the bomb is out of the way. |

i can still shoot charles but it has to be because i think hes very likely a hero. this game is at 10-3 right now, so if we assume 1 person dies each phase, a shot that flips red would cost an entire lynch. the only difference between shooting and lynching is that shooting speeds up the game and gives the flip sooner. do we want that? im leaning no but im all ears |

Re: TWG CXX: Villains United
Syndrome got wolfed after making a serious push onto Charles Muntz. I've got Charles Muntz as my second strongest Hero call. The way he lived through the night holding a gun, and then pushed the shot from "Strongest Lynch target" onto "This chosen list of inactive people" and made us pick so it wasn't on him when they flipped villain, these are all, in my mind, pretty good reasons to suspect that he'd flip Hero.
Of course, since -you- were my -first- Hero lean, and Muntz my second, the idea that you're going to just refuse to use the gun on Muntz is further support to the idea that you're -both- Heros. But then again, since you seered villain, and the assumption is that Muntz somehow -must- be the Master Wolf if he's a wolf suggests that it wouldn't be the case, unless you were confident enough in how he handled the first gun to play it that way while he was a regular Wolf. I'd wonder at the odds that the guns both went to Heros, but then the same "ridiculous" odds were put forward about Hades and Auto both being Heros and they were so, who knows? |
