Halcyon [Xi] [11 or 12]
I do not remember if there was a common consensus or agreement if it was either, so here it goes.
I say it's a 12. A low one, of course. This is pretty damn tricky. First half is FMO worthy with the oddly syncopated jumpstream (and somewhat difficult patterns). Then the middle/ending kicks in. The very dense jumpstream/handstream goes in and out, 24th patterns (including one forcing a 12th down arrow jack), polyrhythms, then the dreaded trill and 32nd bursts in the middle. Pretty intense to nail in one run. The ending is similar to the intro with dense jumpstream but gets rear-ended with the 2 sets of jumpjacks out of nowhere.

Re: Halcyon [Xi] [11 or 12]
Considering this (as a D5 song) had less AAAs then that round's D6 song, I'd say this is 12-worthy already.
Also, it blows BEER, TTE, and FN out of the water.

Re: Halcyon [Xi] [11 or 12]
There are lots of forced minijack patterns and the 32nds can't really be cheated (if you try jumping them, you're in for some seriously bad transitions)
jimerax said he'd change it to 12 after the official is over but I don't see why it isn't bumped up now. |

Definitely a 12. It's fast, it's dense, it's awkward, dat trill. People were getting better scores on Pandora than Halcyon [Xi], and that's saying a lot.

Re: Halcyon [Xi] [11 or 12]
Definitely a 12. It's fast, it's dense, the climax part is awkward, the random minijack transitions at the end are awkward, the 24th JS part is super dense... lots of reasons.
When bumped it won't even be one of the lowest FGOs, more like mid-low.

Re: Halcyon [Xi] [11 or 12]
^this, even Ketsarku feel easier than me, Ketsarku is at a speed where it's not stamina draining, but you have to be careful. Everything is doable. Halcyon is violent and draining, and it has some very technical bursts and jacks straight out of extremely dense jumpstream that never, ever lets up. FN, Sparkle Downer, Lolo, Pants, Time to Eye, and Reality are all easier IMO based on patterns, technicality, speed, and consistency. It might even be harder than Across Rooftops, it seems around there IMO, an 85.

yeah
I don't find it very fast, but the patterns are just extremely awkward. Easier than Across Rooftops though lmao |

Yeah this is already in my difficulty change list, so it will be changed unless I get legit counterarguments.

Nothing within the file looks to be anything really daunting, but scoreboards never lie. This chart has given a lot of people problems and probably should be rated a FGO.
