Looking for good manga
I'm very new to manga. In fact the only manga I own is FLCL, but I effing love it. I'm looking for similarly effed up manga. I think someone told me I'd like Evangelion or some other manga that starts with E I don't remember. Any suggestions?

Re: Looking for good manga
Boobs
Elfen Lied (Link removed. :/ It's only nudity...) Sad / Great Story Line / Very Good Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Full Metal Alchemist Sad / Cute Fruits Basket Good / Funny Naruto (It gets better farther on, beginning is kind of retarded. Gets extremely moving in recent stuff if you read it quickly) One Piece (Gets very good at the recent stuff.) Love Hina (Aparently it is too funny.) Good Ones Mai-HiME (Very Good Anime) Mai-Otome (Similar to Mai-HiME) -- FateStay Night (Based off of a Hentai Game. excellent story line.) ---- There are tons. But I got to go.

Re: Looking for good manga
I'll clarify. I really want the eff'd up philosophy of the manga to be the driving characteristic, like FLCL. Not the action, or the NSFW links you posted zag.
One Piece seems to be getting rave reviews so I'll try that.

Re: Looking for good manga
Meaning you want a summary of the manga?

Re: Looking for good manga
I don't know how you got that from my response. Most of the things you posted have the depth of, well, naruto. And you probably shouldn't be posting links to manga with nudity in the forums.
The manga I like you don't get at all the first time you read it. You spend the next few reads trying to come up with some sort of interpretation. In later reads you convince yourself that there is no meaning, and that, for what it's worth, is the meaning, and you put it away. A month later you read it again and see what it's really about and you find a new aspect of the manga that adds to that thesis upon every read following that. And you keep reading it because it's just that damn good. FLCL. =^___^=

Re: Looking for good manga
FLCL is a sad excuse of a manga though...
I guess your taste is... as you say. The manga that I posted are the most popular manga around. I enjoy, am enjoying, the continuing ones thoroughly and so are almost every other readers. About Naruto. Naruto isn't as near as bad as everyone makes it sound. The Anime is a ridiculously horrible interpretation of the manga, and it makes the whole idea of "Narutard" realistic. Your right, somewhat, about the Elfen Lied, but it's nudity... not porn... and there is nothing wrong with nudity. It's about the same as Negima and any other 'hentai*' manga, minus the perversion and a little more detail. *Direct translation. Not slang.

Apparently we have radically different tastes. Lots of people would disagree with you, by the way. Don't recommend anything to me if you don't like anything I would.
