Re: Card Games
My favorite two player card game is Pinochle, and my favorite 4 player card game is Bridge, though I suck at bridge. I also love to play Texas Hold 'Em, but I don't like playing for real money, since I'm afraid I'll lose a lot.

Re: Card Games
you probably shouldnt be playing for real money if you think that you'll lose a lot of hands in it...at least if you have that mentality.
now I'm no Phil Ivey, but I do know that playing poker is not about winning, nor losing. It's about making the right decisions. |

Re: Card Games
Probably my favorite card game is Mao. It's played like Uno but there are specific rules that are made up by the dealer and you have to learn the rules as you play. If you fail to follow a rule, you are given penalty cards. The more you play, the more rules you learned. I spent the better part of 4 summers playing a specific set of rules for Mao, RPG Mao. Each player had their own set of rules that they had to follow. This way players couldn't learn from watching the other players. I eventually learned all the rules for all ten classes and started dealing the game after playing for two summers. To this day it's the quickest way to lose friends.

Re: Card Games
Slow-playing doesn't work on the internet. What a failure. Regardless, when you went all in he should have folded due to trips or any heart beating him. Judging from the pot that was the majority of his stack that he called with just two-pair.

Re: Card Games
yo, if you have time, you should watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvsndZCikWI
it's a cash game table on Poker After Dark featuring tom dwan and phil ivey, among four other players. definately a good watch. |
