I guess it is? Not really? Ok kinda? I suppose the OP is much angrier and that gives it a very different vibe. The second post is me coming back later and trying to distill what I actually think is the important take-away.

The intention is a little less take down capitalism or whatever and more "Put yourself first" at the very least. EDIT: this isn't to imply I'm suddenly not angry at the pressure corporate America and society at large likes to dump on people, tho.

Of course people should be self aware of their financials and be smart with their spending and know when to say 'no', but if you can responsibly spend and spread the holiday cheer, I'm all for that!!

This is my absolute favorite time of the year, and nothing brings me more happiness than making my home festive and bringing that cheer to others.♥♥
