The bad side to AAA's...
What could possibly be bad about AAA's, you're probably asking?
Well, as of lately, I've had a noticeable skill jump. I've been FC'ing VD's and AAA'ing a few thing's here and there. Nothing at all good, compared to most people here, but I'd say not bad for a person that's been here 3 weeks. Anyway, I notice something when I play a song and don't AAA it. I get REALLY annoyed. Does anyone else find this happening to them? Or am I getting too addicted to FFR? |

Re: The bad side to AAA's...
I wouldn't say you're "getting too addicted to FFR", but you might just be playing something that's out of your skill range to AAA. Maybe take a break or try slightly easier songs?
Also, switch to spread if you haven't already. |

It's totally normal. Not getting AAA's is more painful then child labor

Re: The bad side to AAA's...
depends... is it in your skill range to AAA and you're getting a bad single good on the song? or is it too hard for you and you're getting 30 goods and are still upset?
different cases. like, there are still songs that i'm extremely happy just to FC. and i have 450+ public AAAs. but i get upset if i get a good on a song i SHOULD be AAAing every time. then there are songs where i should be getting 1-2 goods and get lucky and AAA. you have to know and understand your limits.

Re: The bad side to AAA's...
I've completely trashed 3 keyboards, 4 headsets, crushed the hard drive in my laptop, broken a large amount of plates and glasses, and punched a lamp out my window over getting goods on FFR.
lolol. You aren't the only one.

Re: The bad side to AAA's...
I know I do. I need to get a new computer because I've finally figured out that my PA/MA is bad because my computer lags terribly so I can't even AAA things waaaay under my skill level. When my MA is the same on judge 7 as it is on judge 1 something is obviously wrong lmao. But yeah, cause of that my anger is justified.
O wut rationalization.

Re: The bad side to AAA's...
I think it helps to play songs that are pretty hard for you to fc but can get pretty pa on them because that way you improve more quickly. Than you come back to those songs you got a couple goods on and you AAA them easy.

Re: The bad side to AAA's...
I found that when I get frustrated with a song I do worse and worse so I take a break and play a different song.
I also found that my skill jumped the most when I was able to AAA VD's. Soon I found myself AAA'ing Challengings, and now I can AAA some VC's. And remember, spread is always the way to go |

Re: The bad side to AAA's...
I get annoyed if I don't AAA/FC on first try... I guess I'm just not patient with this, hence the reason why I got so few AAAs. In tournament and such I would try songs about 20-30 times but would always get 2-3 goods thus getting upset and not willing to do song ever after.
I got worse by not playing FFR for some times but I could still manage to FC FFLBF not long ago on first try. I don't really know how I did since I thought I got worse and I could never FC this one before... But oh well, I say just don't bother with AAA until you do them without even thinking about them, just try to do as many perfects as possible. |

Re: The bad side to AAA's...
Frustration. In that case, every good thing has a bad side as well, of course.
But I agree, the most annoying thing in existence IS a blackflag. That's true, I usually don't try more than twice because I start getting stressed out. |
