D&D Anyone?

So yeah, I was talking with Fiction and we both kinda wanna do a D&D group with FFR peeps. Thinking of using this site:

Yeah, so whoever is DM pretty much sets it all up. It's kinda cool how it is laid out. To get custom maps, it cost money (i might be able to help out depending) but otherwise its like you can import in your own images as your own icons and what not. Imo someone good at graphics should take dm.

What I really like about this website is it has a roll thingy embedded into it, so everyone can see your roles (to prevent cheating, and all that jazz)

Not even close to good enough at D&D to act as the DM. I might be willing to play, but I've only ever played in IRL sessions, so I don't know what changes about doing it through the internet.

I have a Swashbuckler lv.4 and a Rogue/Fighter lv.7, both from ver3.5 games

we could also use slack with hangouts intgeration is we keep the campaign to a maximum of 10 people.

I just tested and we can definitely roll die on slack.

I can do it, but setting up a campaign (and your d&d group in general) will take a bit of time.
And unfortunately I will be occupied for the next month or two.

In the meantime, you can go ahead and teach people how to play.
If you're really clueless, I don't mind helping you with just a general tutorial.

As for right now, I'm considering asking lady Drizzle if I may incorporate her game world into perhaps a 3.5E Forgotten Realms setting.
I would choose Forgotten Realms because people tend to be acquaintened with that already;
it is the game universe for games like Baldur's gate and Planescape: Torment.

Maybe in a month or so, I'll create a 'campaign concept' and map, so you can start building your characters.
