reasons for breakup?
it's okay if you don't feel like talking about it, don't get offended though. for those of you that had gf(s), why were the reason for breakup? sure maybe it's something simple, like you (they) like some1, or maybe it's something totally absurd, like mine, i'll share one of my experiences (happened back in april).
there's 3 ppl involved, me, my best female friend, and my gf (i'll still refer to her as my gf even before she became it just to leasen the confusion). all 3 of us are really close friends to begin with. my gf was in my canto night class back in gr9 (where we met + knew each other + became friends), then gr10 french class. i've suspected that she likes me for a very long time (since dec last year). but my friend says no... 3 months later, my gf and i ended up talking on msn, and we're talking about who she likes... she just won't tell, this means something's up, it's got to be some1 we both know, or else it's no biggie, and my friend told me it's not me, so i kept annoying her about it... well you can probably guess... she confessed over msn. apparently my friend knew a long time ago (when i first suspected and asked her bout it, but she was keeping a secret). i decided what the hell, got together with her, started to like her after a week or so, things were well, after a week or 2... things kinda went downhill. her parents were totally against her having a bf, i was her first so she totally had no idea how to hide one if need be. sat with me on music night even though her parents were there (which i didn't know). basically you can tell she had no clue on what to do with a bf and parents. now to add to that, her parents totally hate me, cuz they're hardcore christians and i'm a hardcore atheist. she lied to her parents about having a bf, even though i totally know that her parents knew already, she still thinks they don't. then she got caught talking on the phone with me while still in bed (not anything inappropriate, she's just too clean to do that lol). basically went emo for a week, then decided to breakup with me. the night before, we both knew what's gonna happen the next day, and we both knew that we both knew lol, and we basically admitted that we both still liked each other. next day, breakup. now that's a messed up one lol. now i'm glad i'm not an emotional person, i take everything with a grain of salt, get over things fast. i was actually surprised i was pretty down for 2 days after that lol. anyways, you don't see these breakups alot aside from on tv or from dramas lol. please share your experiences (if you're comfortable bout it) and/or comment. |

Re: reasons for breakup?
FFR isn't the place to talk about breakups...if that thread doesn't help do what it says and go to http://www.teenhelp.org. Sorry but in all honesty relationship threads are probably one of the most boring threads to read...sorry :/
EDIT: Not trying to come off as mean D= |

Re: reasons for breakup?
well this IS chit chat and i'm not looking for help, just want to see if others want to share their (maybe interesting) experiences. if you don't want to it's okay, not every1's comfortable with it. maybe some1 else will (maybe i'm wrong lol)

Re: reasons for breakup?
Well, I don't date smokers. The only girl I've dated promised she would quit smoking but she kept on going and I found out. She told me then dumped me which broke my heart.

Re: reasons for breakup?
We had a distant relationship. After being together for 7 months, we let it slip away slowly so we won't hurt each other.

Re: reasons for breakup?
Yeah, I was looking at the thread...I guess I'll post.
It's been like...a year and half since I've had a girlfriend. I was really into my ex...liked her a lot (God damn, she was beautiful too) and dated her for about 7 months before I had to go up the coast to college. It was great for a few months after I left, but she really thrived on my physical existence and she was depressed about me not being able to come home. Not that she didn't like my personality, she loved it, but like I said, I think she was very physically attracted to me. The break up was awkward, drawn out...she gave me a bunch of reasons, some having to do with her, some having to do with me, and some having to do with her current family situation...told me she wanted to take a break...blah blah blah. It was obvious where she was taking it, so when she finally told me, I was already ready for it in my head. Still hurt like ****, but I'll never say a bad word about the girl. She's a great person...good heart, and I really wish things would've worked for us. Long distance is a mistake - seriously...avoid it if you can. |

Re: reasons for breakup?
Everyone dumps me eventually, after they figure out what a loser I am...
Not really, but I never had any girlfriend that I could say was very compatible with me. |
