But it was portrayed as if a single Canadian was having to pay extremely elevated prices to ship these out one by one. The intent of the post was to point out a common sense solution in the event that there was a large number of US coins to ship. The offering in the event that absolutely no one else would do it was to qualify the post, because people that throw out solutions but won't do anything to see them implemented are less valuable than those willing to see them out.

Sending the tokens to be distributed within the US is a less favorable option. For example, there are approximately 50 of 90 tokens being shipped to the US:

50 tokens @ $1.80/stamp via. Canada Post to US = $90 CDN

6 lbs. parcel shipped to nearest US event staff member = $50 CDN, plus..
50 tokens @ $0.91/stamp via. USPS within US = ...an additional $45 US, inconvenience for everyone involved, and expect delays. Even if my numbers are a bit off, I am convinced that Canada Post is the best option.

edit: On this note, I will be sending out all 90 tokens this week!

Yes. I have 100 tokens in total. The remaining 10 tokens are reserved for anything from spontaneous contest rewards, to door prizes for the upcoming official tournament.

Take as long as you need! I have everyone running events marked on my shipping spreadsheet, so I won't send tokens until everything is ready on your end
