I was hoping to switch my playing style.
Right now, i dont really know how i play well, because my style is completely messed up. It is the following.
2-Handed. Left pointer finger and left middle finger. Right ring finger and right pointer finger. Sometimes i use my right middle finger. This style is starting to really mess up alot of streams for me. its very annoying. Thanks all. |

Re: I was hoping to switch my playing style.
It just takes getting used to. When I switch from 1H3F to 1H4F my PA and general skill sucked all round, but once I got used to it, I was far better than I was before. Same thing when I switched from 1H4F to spread, now I'm the lean mean comboing machine you see here today

Or really any keys other than just using the 4 arrow keys. You can use AHK to play with any keys you want.

Re: I was hoping to switch my playing style.
50 games seriously isn't enough to get totally used to spread. Just keep at it.

Re: I was hoping to switch my playing style.
Is it at all weird that I play <^26?
I mean, they don't match the arrows, but it's more comfortable for me and I read it perfectly fine. Sorry to butt in on your thread, but I saw that your playing style is strange so I thought I might mention mine as well. |

Re: I was hoping to switch my playing style.
Mine is wierd too, i play axml on SM, doesn't match the keys at all, but find it infinitely more comfortable than askl, or zx,.

Re: I was hoping to switch my playing style.
Well, mine is the same as spread, but I don't use the same fingers for the same arrows as most other people.
Most people use their left index for down and their right index for up, but I do the opposite. |

Re: I was hoping to switch my playing style.
Well I started index, so I never really read the arrows from left to right, just as they are. So when I decided to switch to spread I just used what felt right. So yeah, I play currenty <^26. Even when using ahk on laptops I still use the same fingers for the same arrows.

Re: I was hoping to switch my playing style.
switching is hard.. I've tried using 1-handed a bit, and it's very hard.

Re: I was hoping to switch my playing style.
I played 1 hand 3 fingers for like 1500 games, then found out i suck at it :P Then I switched to 2 hands 3-finger (My current style). Then I tried spread for about 600 games, quit it, then tried again for another few hundread games. Needless to say I hate spread and 3-finger is the style of the future and we will dominate spread players in the future
We already got smartdude and scottish. We have to add more to the list of elite 3-finger players lol. |
