I only participated in the Day of Silence since it was an excuse for why I got to use a pad of paper to converse with people. Hilarity ensued.

This type of protest IS totally stupid, I agree. It's just not as effective as, well, an actual protest.

Or today's anniversary of the burning of the Branch Davidian compound and the blowing up of the Murrah building in Oklahoma City, which were both orders of magnitude more tragic than the Columbine massacre. Wiki them.
