Aye I just read it. Twice. Picked up a few good tips. My first sim I'm working on right now is Jotun by In Flames, something which hasn't been stepped before, and lord knows if it's bad enough someone with some talent might come along and re-step it. So there's that at least.

someone give me a better example of a good simfile for the second post

it has to be able to run in resonance and display both pitch relevance and layering in a clear, understandable but not too over-the-top manner

can someone answer this question for me.

why the hell does stepmania sometimes, after you're halfway thorugh stepping a marathon song, erase your steps and auto create a beginner file with 2 steps? im so damn mad. this has happened to me twice now while editing steps.

Sorry for the uber bump, but does anyone around here know how to use that DDReam Studio Thing? I can't figure it out...which is a shame because it looks like that Magic Nudge thing would be really helpful.

i think there was a guide somewhere on the site, really detailed. try looking fo ddream's site, i remember there was one.

This guide is still the best tool for new comers on how to find gap and a bpm and make a song which doesn't suck.
