Epic Partner Tournament

Welcome to my newest tournament, this is I believe number 7 under my belt. Thanks to EnR for this idea. This is a team based tournament. You get to go out and pick a partner, along the same level as yourself and get to compete against other teams. Both of you will play the same song and your combined scores will be your score for the round. Ill be using the FFR scoring system for easy access.

Rounds will last 3 days, that should give you enough time to get your song done and bug the hell out of your partner until they do the song as well. All scores must be submitted in the form of a screen shot. If you don't know how to take a screen shot, ask, someone will tell you. You can either go out and find a partner or you can say in and I will post your name on a list which will tell you if other people are looking for a partner as well.

Again, its imperative that you find a partner on your level, I will not accept a master being dragged down to beginner for some stupid reason and vice versa, why anyone would do that, I don't know, but don't do it. There will be four divisons for you to choose from.

Beginner (Easiest-Standard songs)

Intermediate (Standard-Difficult songs)

Advanced (Difficult-Challenging songs)

Master (Challenging-FMO songs)

Prizes will be credits and I will donate to get the pot going, but I would also accept donations in any amount. I wouldn't mind a large pot, I like there being incentive for you to try hard. Sign ups will be open until the 15th of May. Get out there and find yourself a partner and lets get this party started.

Please state your team either in this thread or in a PM to me, cause I won't hunt through this thread to find your teams.

If you are active and your partner becomes inactive, you must tell me in which case you can either find a new partner or if there are multiple in your division you will be placed with that person. But if I am not notified with a valid reason as to why you need a new partner, you stand a chance of being eliminated.

Tie breakers will be given an extra day to do the song and the round will start once the tie breaker is over.

Maybe you should add more information as to when it will start, how many rounds there will be, how many in each division, be more specific on how to submit your score (in the thread or through PM's), etc...

I was in EnR's team tournament last time and there was a bit of a problem with some partners. One would stop submitting their scores while the other one was still active with the tournament. The problem was if both should be disqualified or not. I think what EnR did was to match the active one with another participant that was going through the same thing. Maybe you can add that information there?

I have all that information already posted. Sign ups open till the 22nd at Noon, rounds are 3 days long. I never set division limits. And yes, I know what EnR did about his tournament...inactivity will be abolished if the partners tell me about it.

Well then I need to specify a certain amount of teams that could be allowed to join each divisions for sign ups...and anyone who gets in after would be a back up...not a free choice to be a backup :P There...there is spots for 8 teams in each division...anyone who doesn't get in before its filled will be a back up for the inactive partners, hows that sound?

That sounds good, but considering im a hated player i doubt anyone would want me as a partner anyway, this idea sounds better than willing sitting there watching everyone else pwn.
