I posted in the other vRofl thread in another subforum, but I guess I just don't understand how to get these points. Can someone explain to me?

Much better off going for 50 bil GTS, which btw is equally retarded because the top GTS guy is at 43k, and the interval drops by 25% once you hit rank 16 -- and most of those guys already have vROFL anyway. This is not really making vROFL any easier to achieve than it was before. It's still pretty much going to be impossible. Playing normally, the average song has a bit under 10,000 points/second. That means, again playing normally, you can expect to need about 58 days of straight arrowsmashing to generate 50 billion points. Divvy that up based on how much you play per day and adjust the average step figure by what range of difficulties you play. |

Gonna say it now,
all of you that are going to try for 1.5 billion in one day are going to fail.

Is it bad that I still can't mash FC Lolo? >_> Always get 1 or 2 stupid misses.
Attempting to mash FC the beginning bit of RATO like Dossar said would probably be more efficient/easier. :B Or just mash FC'ing Lolo 'till I miss and failing out, w/e. Hmm, might give this a go. :3 |

Re: Vertex Beta vRofl thread - post here if you qualify
It's not even a matter of patience -- even if you had the patience, getting 1.5 bil in a day still requires a shitload of pointgain and a shitload of stamina that I don't think people will be able to leverage without vROFL or getting multiple friends to mash on the same account or taking turns.

Re: Vertex Beta vRofl thread - post here if you qualify
Matching vROFL's NPS in any other song is practically impossible without killing your hands -- the beginning alone is over 20 tps, but it's easily doable as 8th hands. Not sure if this is mathematically possible to obtain with any other song.

Re: Vertex Beta vRofl thread - post here if you qualify
lol Rubix, you should've seen the days I was whoring RATO while trying to achieve certain milestones like 245 and such - I did it for hours and I was fine.
For most players though that would probably be a problem, but with my stepmania scores.... I have the stamina to do this, just not the internet connection or time haha (my connection derps hard sometimes, preventing scores from recording) Also AJ, if you really were mashing that hard on any other file (even RATO) you'd get a shit ton of averages and boos and your score would suck (and you'd boo out lmao). It would just be better to do something like Lolo in between for breaks. |

Please, please, PLEASE do not go for the 1.5 bil in a day because when you fail, you will be insanely pissed off at how close you were and how much time you just wasted..lmao

Re: Vertex Beta vRofl thread - post here if you qualify
I am well aware of your stamina, but I am declaring right now -- I don't think you could whore RATO for 15+ hours with the average score necessary to hit 1.5 billion. Stamina is a very exponential thing. You might be fine for a few hours, but eventually your hands go from "Hey, this is great" to "Holy shit remember when I had tendons?!" mode in no time at all, and it makes the rest of the mash-session a hugely painful endeavor.

Re: Vertex Beta vRofl thread - post here if you qualify
.....which is why you'd take breaks in between with Lolo, haha - it would be more organized and efficient to take breaks around a few minutes whether it would have to be using the bathroom or whatever. You have the full 24 hours, it doesn't have to be finished in 16 XD
You are right that RATO for that amount of time wouldn't even be worth it, it would just turn into a worse situation than if I did Lolo the entire time instead. |

Re: Vertex Beta vRofl thread - post here if you qualify
Missin' the point, man. 1.5 billion was doable with vROFL because of easy of quadding AND a relatively high perfect+good to boo ratio AND a sick TPS. Even then, it took Adamaja 21 hours with just a few short breaks. Trying to do it with Lolo (let alone RATO) is not going to happen. Anything other than lazymash for that length of time is going to kill you. You don't "take breaks with Lolo" -- after a certain point, anything other than lazymash will kill your hands.
