If you're comfortable with it, it's the best way. Everybody has different opinions, no one certain way is better.

Well I'm right handed so arrow keys would be easier for me.

Unless you play spread, the arrow keys work the best, if an arrow key breaks, you can always change to awsd or some other combination.

You can't press down more than three arrow keys at a time on most keyboards. WASD technically cannot be better, since the rows are not aligned (unless you use your right hand?).

Numpad should work best with that kind of setup.

Agreed. Spread might be the most effective playing style. But, seeing as you're using the arrow key setup, I guess it could vary. For example, my Mom's laptop arrow keys are ridiculously small, compared to your "average" sized arrow keys. So obviously in this case, ASDW would be better. It all depends.

The arrow keys are definitely better than WASD for index because the up and down arrows are right on top of each other. For one-handed I'd just say to go with the one that's on the same side of the keyboard as your hand.

Not necessarily.
1. For a given keyboard, some index setups will register different combinations of triple presses than others
2. How much the up arrow key is raised relative to the others is important; for instance, my up key is higher up from the down key then, say, 8 is from 5 on the numpad. This means that it will be easier for me to do slides from any other key to the up key on that setup.
3. Index setups with keys arranged slightly differently will make hitting different doubles/triples with a single finger or slide easier or harder.
