The Edit Button

, the most unused button in the forums.

I?m seeing WAY too many double posters. And making matters worse, they know that they are doing it. Now if only those people came here or saw a link to it, it would help. So come and support the edit button.

Any new users, please use this button when you need to add more information to a post, instead of double/triple posting. This prevents spam, and unwanted 'dont double post plz' posts. this button is located at the bottom right corner of each of your posts. Every time you use this button, a message at the bottom will say something like "Last edited by dashoe93 : March 4th, 2007 at 03:13 PM." this message might not appear unless about1-2 minutes have passed. When clicked once, you will get an edit box in the middle of your post containing all of the words in that post. When clicking "Go Advanced" or the edit button a second time, you will go into a full editing box, where as on top of that, the option to delete your post.

and new users, any other help can be asked by PMing me. put

in your sig if you support. Down below is the code for this edit button.

Put any { } to [ ] for code.

If you bumped this every time someone double/triple posted, you'd eventually double post, so then you'd have to post again, but then you'd have made a triple post, so you'd have to post again, but then you'd have made a quadruple post, so then you'd have to post again, but then you'd have made a quintuple post, so then you'd have to bump it again, but then you'd make a.........and you get stuck in an infinite loop.

P.S.: I see a double/triple post probably once an hour, not even counting 1mil get.
