My friend is finally getting a car and license after having a long time fear of driving. Being in a nasty car wreck that almost landed you in a ravine will do that to you. Very happy for him.

I got back from some doctor I had to drive like an hour to toronto to go to and finally figured out why im in constant pain because the doctor actually wasn't terrible lol, good ol canada

rotator cuff tendonitis, patellar tendonitis, neck tendonitis, also RSI in my shoulders surpisingly rather than my fingers, and carpal tunnel syndrome lmao, yikes. also need to wait like 3 months to see a rheumatologist to see if I have RA, which is possible since blood tests say I have the markers for it and like, 3 siblings on both my parents side each have it lol, so...

i mean its positive in the sense that now i kno how to try to improve it so yay, unfortunately I can't get injections etc to help the tendonitis because all my muscles and joints are so stiff it'd be too hard to inject them, so I got prescribed to do physio and also some stretches to loosen them

oof im tired

Narrowing down the root of the issue is positive, it's a necessary step towards actually getting better. My doctor and I were talking about this a bunch today, breaking down how my week usually goes (I tend to have REALLY bad mondays, because I spend all my energy on adapting to normal weekday reality again after my weekend throws me off). So, I'm gonna keep this in mind and try making the weekend less of a battery drain.

I had really good appointments with two of my docs today. I just communicated really well with both of them, something I tend to struggle with.

Nothing. My existence is the most terrible sorcery ever conjured and is the most abhorrent, excruciating life imaginable short of being slowly and infinitely tortured.

oh yea ur canada too so you can probably relate, ive been to so many chiropractors and random other doctors and they all are suck

i dislike when doctors just focus on like, "masking" the symptoms, like prescribing painkillers etc, instead of solving the root cause
