Well, just now I was reading some of Tasselfoots blogs on his website tasselfoot.com.

Well, I read his latest ( in which you can read here http://tasselfoot.com/2010/10/09/nov...tion/#comments ) that Tass, Jasonkey, DrugstoreCowboy, Summerschool, Jay, and troy are the ones going to be making up Thirdstyle.com.

So my question, is whats going to happen with Synthlight here? Is he going to appoint new admins? Bring LD back? NSane? Who?

I mean we've seen sprite, devonin, ananana(sp? fixed :P) etc. etc. What's to happen now though? Hopefully James (synthlight) will explain this as well?

Nov 1st – Explanation

Given certain events, we felt that it was appropriate to explain what it is that we’ve been teasing about. About 2 months ago, JasonKey called me up and asked if I’d be interested in meeting up and discussing starting up a new music site. I said I’d need to know more about it, but generally speaking… yes, I’d be interested. After a few more calls, and chats with others, 6 of us met up to see if this is something we wanted to do. The 6 are Jason, myself, Troy (Maldon/Dawnerd), Isak (Summerschool), Ricky (DrugstoreCowboy), and a new team member brought in by Jason, Jay (will be known as J). Over this weekend, it was clear that we wanted to move forward and try and start up a new site, so we hashed out a basic plan.

For all of you, the most important information is that we’ll be using thirdstyle.com as our site and that this project has absolutely nothing to do with any previous rhythm game experience we might have had. Our focus is going to be heavily on the music side, although we will not ignore our gaming friends. We don’t want to share too much with you, yet, but our goal is to stand a site up by November 1st. The site will center around a 4-key rhythm game, although we have ambitious plans to be much more.

We will be opening the site/game up to a very small number of people over the next week or so, and then have a larger beta (taking from the user comments I received in my previous post) towards the end of October. It’s still unclear whether November 1st will be a public release, or just a much bigger beta… but it will be something.

If you have any questions, post them as comments… I’ll consider answering some of them in a future post.

Well, I can tell you for one thing that we lost quite a few administrators due to thirdstyle's construction. We've had enough moderators come back to FFR that I can safely assume that at the moment we're good on moderators. I have joined the team as an administrator recently and plan to make every available effort to contribute to FFR's revival and future development.

We wouldn't really even need many Mods right now. Just admins to fix the site for now untill the site gets back to normal.

Oh, well that I didn't know. I mean I knew people were fixing the site, don't get me wrong. That's obvious, but no clue Synth already appointed new(er) staff that is.

Twilight: New admins helping out are really what James needs. I agree with 25th hour that mods are here but not at all really definitely needed except to keep chaos away. Admins are where it's at.

I'm fairly certain some mass of answers to some questions will be coming in very near feature rather then the need to get everything in a trickle. Unlike Tass's thirdstyle with its 'super secret' release, FFR is kind of picking things up piece by piece... though it is going forward. Profiles have started to work a bit, today.

You don't because an admin by being social and active in the community. You become an admin by having the capabilities to maintain a website.
