Has anyone played Sound Voltex in arcades?

I was wondering if anybody has seen a machine in the US somewhere..

there shouldn't be any sound voltex machines in the US just yet. People would port over machines BUT you would need eamuse to even get them running. On places in US that have legit eamuse is Round 1 in california since its owned by konami which they will be getting reflec beat and sound voltex in the near future. Beatmania is a special case since it has fan based e-amuse which IS currently working on sound voltex at the moment.

I was trying to track down this game on some arcade somewhere in Can but it's no use, seems like it's Japan exclusive

But it has the chance to come in the west sooner or later, given that it's increasingly getting popularity in the community and there is a userbase for homemade content. Would be the bomb if this comes out.

Btw, just read a bit, and seems like most of those arcade systems are on a lease contract with Konami, meaning they are still on a testing period. There's only about 10 of those availaible at this moment. Time will only tell if Konami will invest in the game for further commercial deals.
