The report function is more for less serious offenses. For what we've been seeing these days, just contact us personally via AIM or MSN or whatever. A PM or a report won't get there fast enough. If nobody is online or nobody's replying, however, then a report will have to do.

I'm sorry, hehe I replied to one of these. I didn't see any pictures though, I guess parental block blocked the pictures.

All I saw was the text, and my mom saw it, stared at me... and I was like...

Like there is a reason to posting besides + 1 for their post count.

Even then, I thought that posts that get deleted also get deducted from your post count. Therefore, you don't get anything from posting in those threads. (Correct me if I'm wrong pls)

That's exactly how it is.

Posting in a thread you know is going to be locked makes us annoyed, but there's not much we can do about it if it's on-topic (though we've taken the stance on day-bans for off-topic things such as "in before lock"). Posting in a thread you know is going to be deleted is worse, because now you know that all you're doing is bringing that image to more and more people, increasing the chances of someone seeing it who should not.

I'll usually only go out of my way on AIM if it's something truly terrible, like porn in img tags or cp or something.

Reported 6 threads yesterday, and posted in those 6 so I guess my good deed evened out with the bad one xD (Also I the posts get deleted anyways but I was just angry so I had to post :P)

Spam bot is a bot who goes around posting the same post everywhere while linking to sites etc.

You know, like spam emails "increase your dick size with super gro!"

How does posting hinder the process? Are you just worried about it being bumped and increasing the likely hood someone reads the post?

Go to their forum profile and click on contact detail. I admit that a list of FFR staff AIM's would be very helpful, finding a single staff when you need one can sometimes be a pain.

1) Oops that's what it has been these days.

2) Reporting does a lot of good. Yes, I've seen your reports, and yes, I do take care of them sometimes. Sometimes your reports are something that isn't breaking the rules, just your rules. And you always sound angry with us for not fixing it right away, so that makes me less willing to do anything about it.

3) This forum is where all the spam-bots are posting in. That's why I posted this thread here.

Yes. Some of them are incredibly graphic images. Would you like to stumble across a random thread and see two columns of hundreds of pornographic images right as your mom walks into the room?

What I read was if you are angry towards the mods, it will be less likely that they will take care of any issues regarding "rule-breaking"? I find that extremely insolent. You should take care of rule-breaking no matter the consequences. It's your duty as a mod.

His reports are borderline sometimes.

It's like a "you have to look at it this way for it to be wrong" thing.

In any event, we implemented a human verification system in our registration, so this problem should be dying. The one that just happened was a bot who registered two days ago. It's safe to say it shouldn't be happening anymore.
