Done, actually! Trust me, I was planning on doing so since day one. they even had 4 black labeled versions at the store I go, for that matter! The thing was that they were all in bad condition. What I did is simply purchase the greatest hits version to play the game (I had never played it, actually! Shame, it's my favorite FF now) and wait for a good condition black label to pop up. I exchanged it and the get even let me go away with the black label for free since, to the store, they bring the same exact amount of money. So, yeah. Keep me alive (:

Hey man don't be too hard on me!! I started playing RPGs in 2010 only! I wasn't mature enough back then to understand the whole concept and I'm just starting to get behind major titles like FF and Mario RPG. I'm really trying to cover what I missed, but this shit is expensive! XD

Also, if you could find Xenogears for cheap (I know my store sold it at $70 once but I was like "No way I'm buying this for that price"), that would actually awesome. I've always been pretty curious about that game, to tell the truth.

Because Sparkster on the Genesis is an overpriced pile of shit. It really sucks. You could go watch the review from the HVGN, even he didn't like it XD I emulated it out of curiosity, and realized Konami broke the rules they set up in the original game, toned down the graphics and made it more tedious than anything. So... yeah, I love Sparkster, but only the original game!

Yeah, sure, but how much did you pay for each one of them and in what year? This is 2012, each copy sells for the equivalent of an Xbox 360. lol ;_;

I wish I had enough money just to wish I want Earthbound. This is just out of reach.

Could sell them both for a good chunk :> (~$50-60 each) but they are so much fun to play with friends who appreciate turn-based strategy :>
(good ol' switching controller after each chapter strategy)

also did you just call it Emplem lmfao?

PS: Mad respect for having Earthbound... do you have it with the box? (and/or manual)
PPS: Thinking my next buy is Ikaruga + DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3. RIP Money.

Wait, whut? I really did type Emplem LOL. I'm so mad at myself for not buying it when I saw it at the store, I had no idea it was this rare. I saw it once and never saw it again. ;_;

@kiwi

Glad at least you take care of them. :3

I've got a handful of SEGA Genesis games. Almost all have boxes and instruction booklets. Let me see what I remember here.

Sonic Pinball
Rocket Knight Adventures
The Tick
Boogerman
Vectorman I
Vectorman II
Golden Axe

And a bunch more. I might come back and list them all soon.

@MarioNintendo: You do realise you're giving my childhood a kick in the nuts, when I was young in that era of games, judging games wasn't exactly high on my list.

Edit: Watched HVGN's review, and what I understood from it is that Genesis Sparkster isn't good enough to be worthy being called a sequel due to the bliss of the original Rocket Knight.
On the other hand, as he well stated several times, it isn't a bad game, it just didn't live up to the expectations of the fanbase.
Frankly, I was too young to have any real awareness of a fanbase other than my brother and a couple of friends who came over to play, 300 bucks is expensive when you're 8.

@Scintill

Ouch, man, I didn't want to hurt your youth! It's just that, when I was young, I had no idea there was a sequel to the original RKA. Mind you, RKA was the second game I ever played and knew it by heart - I really, really loved it. I didn't even know its title since I couldn't speak English or read at the time. I knew it as the yellow cartridge with a mouse on it (lol it's an opposum, whatever).

When I heard the HVGN say in another review there was a sequel, I got super pumped and emulated it right away. I was just sooooo disappointed, that's the real truth. Sure, it might be a good game in its own right, but it didn't live up at all to the original, and that's why it ruined the whole experience for me.

The controls look damn awful in the sequel and the sword reach is retarded lmfao

then again to truly give it my own judgement I'd have to properly play it. Seeing as I have NO interest in Sega Consoles, except the dreamcast, this is not going to happen.

I'm not a huge fan of the Rocket Knight series, but I do know that the Sparkster on SNES is one of my favorite games for SNES

I liked the fast paced style to the genre. It was similar to Sonic, but there was much more action

Combat
Star Raiders
Pressure Cooker
Frostbite
Defender
Galaxian
