Winter Wind Etude
You know in the classical genre the second to last song (I think...) is the winter wind etude. I am learning to play that on the piano so i was really exited to find that it was on here. can't wait to see if more of chopin's etudes go up!!!

Re: Winter Wind Etude
Op.25 No.11 requires a lot more from you on the piano than it does in FFR lol
Quite a workout, especially for 4th and 5th finger dexterity. I cannot play it anywhere close to speed, but it's fun to practice the right hand slowly.

Re: Winter Wind Etude
You can stop posting scores now, ipekili. You're obviously just mashing through the file, without the skill to actually play it. Maybe work up to it by working on songs you can read and hit properly. (And there are threads in the Brag Board for random FFR scores, anyway.)

Re: Winter Wind Etude
It's amazing to hear and very rewarding to learn. Chopin's one of my favorite composers. I hope you go and learn the whole song. (FFR's chart for it is awkward to play, don't bother with it lol)

Re: Winter Wind Etude
I happen to think mashing through hard charts is a waste of time, and that new players ought to play songs they can actually follow. It's an easy trap to fall into since FFR makes it far too easy to pass files. But hey, if you need to call me names for some reason, go ahead.

ipekili, if you can use the R^3 engine, you may want to try playing the song at a lower rate so you can actually read it. That way you will be able to get a feel for the chart. You won't improve at all by just smashing the keys for three minutes. So could you.
