So I felt bored and decided to do something useful with my time.

I went and touched up the Note+ noteskin for SM.

I know it's wonderful, but I found one thing that was bugging me a lot every time I played with it... THE HOLD NOTE TOPS WEREN'T COLORED RIGHT--they were colored yellow/green, like the hold body, so it was very difficult to see them...

So I thought, why not go fix that?

So after spending at least an hour figuing out how everything worked (and finding that the final error of it was a single mispelling--botom instead of bottom...) I got that problem fixed.

I give you Note++

Distribute it freely, just leave the readme and stuff in there. Feel free to do whatever you want to it--it's open-source, after all.

EDIT: Apparently, there was one little error, where the tails drew before the notes, making it look rather odd (only on short holds)... So after taking another half-hour to an hour, I finally found a fix to it.

Here is the new version. Don't use the last one.

Holds have always been a nuissance for keyboard files but with this, hopefully it should correct some mental blocks I seem to have.

brb testing this out. I'll provide feedback later.

seems nice, this should be in simulator forum though.

I find it easier to hit the arrows when they are yellow/green instead of red/blue/etc...

It's really cool though. I wish I knew how to edit such stepmania stuff.

Yeah... I always get annoyed at hands that only have one held note and it makes the entire 3/4 turn yellow/green... They're just harder to see.

It wasn't that hard--I just used another noteskin as a mirror reference.
