In any case, if you're old enough and you understand what it feels to be crushed like that, it doesn't matter in this case whether you're present for the cheating or blown off through e-mail and you found out she broke up the relationship alone (usually your opinion counts) and slept with some one night stand loser taking advantage of her psychotic roller coaster emotions.
