Re: petition: hire ffr user "Fission" as a site dev to fix/coherent the site code
People at this point are leading me to believe that they are voting no simply because they can and yes is already winning by a landslide, and no one is sharing real opinions on what concerns them and why they are voting no. So at this point everyone is voting yes except for the people that just don't care anymore, in which they're voting no or idk.

From what I have been told Fission is messaging with Velocity over Skype to see if they can work down on it.

I'm not letting this die until there's a definitive yes/no.

Re: petition: hire ffr user "Fission" as a site dev to fix/coherent the site code
if velo wants to avoid me for whatever reason, fine. i'm tired of jumping through hoops in order to attempt to volunteer my skills even though FFR clearly needs it. just know that it's extremely disrespectful to not even offer so much as a response.

i think the problem is no one can take you seriously because you're an ffr user

Re: petition: hire ffr user "Fission" as a site dev to fix/coherent the site code
Trick is, if we want to see change, people needs to step forward and do things first even if they're not gonna get anything in return in the beginning (and it can take a while). So if someone really wants to improve the site code (whether it's Fission or someone else), I propose to just go ahead and make a plan to get things started. Then, once you got the staff attention, you might be able to implement or improve a few things around.

Re: petition: hire ffr user "Fission" as a site dev to fix/coherent the site code
We have reached out to Fission. If he was to be brought on to the team, whether or not the live site would benefit would depend on his desired focus. The current development team is not focused on the live site.
Cheers, Zageron |
