My style (1 handed) Three fingers, or for mash purposes. (2 handed) 4 fingered.

I play average, but for newbs, I reccomend, using Spread.

I use a modified version of one-hand three-finger, thumb for up-down jumps. Not as "l33t" as other styles, but great for showboating outside of my house.

don't forget about the 1hand, 1finger method! i used to do it but its too hard on the faster songs.

What you said for 2 hands 3 fingers is way wrong. The left index hits the left arrow, the up and the down arrow, depending on the pattern. BTW that's my playing style.
