AAA RATO to unlock Crowdpleaser.

What? Bad idea?

(Serious idea: FC a listed song (similar to Heavy/Oni) that features lots of trills)

from hi19hi19's profile page: "Excite Bike - MEGA LOL. It's offsync, which is especially impressive considering the song length. The song is terrible, and yet it makes me all fuzzy inside to know this song tops the most played list day after day."

so it's offsync just because...?

lolool
oops Excite Bike....

PS, if the song wasn't so long and hard otherwise, I'd say something like score well on Blooddrunk's retarded one handed trills to unlock CP. Haha.

It's offsync because I did a shit job of syncing it and nobody noticed.

Lax judging back then, as you can clearly tell.

should sync it better. That was always my gripe when I was a newb. D: I couldn't get on beat with it because of the sync.

I'd be glad to send a revised version but FFR is so loathe to change files once they're in the game- see the entire Legacy genre for proof...

heh, I know what you mean. Oh well. I guess I wouldn't change it either since it's a beloved file.

I assume you mean "loath" and couldn't you make a v2?

Yes I mean loath. Nice catch, I always put the "e" on when I mean "unwilling"

And while I could make a v2 (in fact I have already), it would never get accepted as a v2 with updated sync would be rejected for being too similar to the existing chart lmao

Whoring No Purpose Flour back for the AAA really never fazed me - it took me 47 tries (quite a bit for a FMO, for me), but I never really got the FGO vibe. It's definitely tricky though, and that 48th-32nd-24th roll/transition is tricky. I'd be happy either way, though.

mutant corecore seems a tiny bit easier than Lolo - the 32nd rolls can both be jumptrilled (although, the first one has an odd number of notes; a boo trap, if you will). Other than that, it's just a bit jack heavy. Lolo is a crap-shoot with those hard-to-piece together 24ths intertwined between jumps.

I can see mutant corecore being an FGO. Some of those patterns are tricky and the transitions are really difficult.

However, I can't see No Purpose Flour being a FGO. The only hard parts of the file is that 48th wall and that trill which is all caused by FFR's framers. It's rage worthy too AAA, but that doesn't mean it's FGO worthy imo. I intentionally made it to be a FMO in the first place haha.

Someone made that for the hard songs batch, more or less. It was rejected pretty hardcore, so I'm guessing that a 9 second FGO is not ever going to be in FFR's future.

I guess I skimmed this. You fought with me over difficulty squabbles especially with Purple Water, everyone did, and yet that is the single most incorrect statement I have read in a long time pertaining to accurate difficulty ratings.

This I respect. I understand that and think that's a good way of handling it. I always wondered if this would turn out with a gillion AAA's for some divisions.
