Keep answering all my own questions. Showed it to my dad when he got home and he poked the port with a metal pick and suddenly it went in. Was so confused -_-. Atm everything is working as expected. I'll post again if anything else happens.

I know, too little too late but an AMD processor would've shaved about $100 and still maintain close to the same processing power
edit- nvm you did change to one if I read the second post correctly... |
