Glue tacks to your keys, it will help you not over tap/mash.

I am using a standard laptop keyboard

and omega, the tacks didn't work. Now my fingers don't want to press the keys at all :X

Well you have two options, build up a pain tolerance, or do drugs.

But if either go too far, you might have to add lemon juice to the tacks. Its a careful balance.

Here's a better strategy: get all parfects.



Some actual advice tho, don't keep playing the song over and over again, play something harder and come back to it.
This is especially decent advice if you have mindblocks.
