Re: Songs of the Week (Jul. 8, 2017)
nice files, though I do feel a couple are underrated
the technical proficiency required to AAA gorechestra is certainly higher than that of a low FGO, and I'd make the same argument for Powerhaus compared to where it currently stands...I feel like both of these files could go up 2/3 points (heavily leaning towards 3 for both) IGS could maybe be pushed right to the VC/FMO border but very short length makes that more debatable Last edited by One Winged Angel; 07-8-2017 at 03:44 PM.. |

Re: Songs of the Week (Jul. 8, 2017)
IGS is denser than VS Boss battle at the end - It may only be a short section of time, but it's 400 notes of FMO level jumpstream. I don't think anyone who doesn't already have ONI will AAA it. I'd say 71 or 72 honestly.
Powerhaus seems maybe 1 or 2 points underrated, but I'm not as sure about that one. |

Re: Songs of the Week (Jul. 8, 2017)
I guess with IGS it's like purple - Sure purple is short, but you need an "ONI" level of speed to AAA it. I'd only knock a song 1 or at most 2 points for being short - you still have to have a good level of skill to hit the notes accurately. Purple has streams faster than you see in most low FMOs - but the low FMOs stream based songs are more stamina based (i.e. Strangeprogram). I still score better on most low FMOs than I do on purple.
TLR I think we tend to knock a song too much when it's short. P.S. IGS isn't even really that short at about 90 seconds, some of the jacks in the JS before the end are tough too. 2 cents Edit:// Because of the last 100 notes, I'm getting similar scores on it as I am on VS Boss Battle, I will try to get under 40 raw goods tomorrow - so far no luck Last edited by TheSaxRunner05; 07-8-2017 at 11:31 PM.. |

The front page comments and the thread comments suggest IGS is underrated, is there an official review process of some sort? The difficulty subforum is dead as new threads aren't accepted anymore.

Also wondering if IGS has been considered for a small raise. The last ~350 notes are filled with repetitive tricky hands which not many (if any) diff 68 songs contain. I would say at least a 1 point gain, if not 2.
