How to Prevent HD Lag
Whenever I plug any of my consoles into an HD TV, there is always a very noticeable amount of lag. I've read different places that most consoles only support resolutions up to 480p but when I use my 360 on the HD TV with the HD cables in and the HD switch on and the settings on HD, the lag is still there. It deteriorates performance in FPS let alone rhythm games. I'm wondering what you guys have to offer for solutions.

Re: How to Prevent HD Lag
it would help to have more info on your tv. look under your picture settings for something like smooth motion or motion blur or anything like that and turn that off and see where that gets you

Re: How to Prevent HD Lag
It would make a lot more sense if you gave a link or exact specifications of the TV you have. Some TVs are meant to produce optimal viewing and don't really focus on any input delay. Ever notice why some TVs in a store seem to load faster than others?
And I'm using a $5 HDMI cable for my 360 connected to a 26" Emerson LCD, at 1080P and I can't even notice the input lag for the games I play (no rhythm games). CRT TVs are always the best option for rhythm games. |
