I want to be surgically altered so I can breathe under water indefinitely.
And then open up a seafood restaurant. I will not settle for 1/2 |

Re: What are your goals in life?
I don't have any materialistic goal for my life. I want my life to be a preparation of my death. I want to grow up as a person and be able to love everyone the same, whatever the race or what they have done.
So yes, What i want out of life is wisdom. I've already made a few choices that will make sure i stay broke all my life. I do not mind being broke, as long as i dont buy objects to fill the holes i have in my life. Everyone needs a place to stay, food and clothes. Nobody really needs a car or a guest house. If i could meet the right woman and have a familly it would be nice, but so far there only seem to be the same kind of fish in the ocean everywhere i look. |

Re: What are your goals in life?
So many simple and lackluster goals listed here. I get that people wanna be realistic, but don't people think big things for themselves anymore?

Re: What are your goals in life?
Then retire before I become 45 (I highly doubt many could even last this much due to the extreme workload) and pursue a few hobbies and stuff. Not really planning on a family.. |

Re: What are your goals in life?
sup I work on dat street (well, back and forth between that and times sq technically)
The workload's only hard if you're unwilling to get shit done asap. But no, really, retiring at 45 is massively overrated. Everyone I know who chose to retire at that age is single and bored with life, and inexorably mired in existential crises. Last edited by Reincarnate; 08-9-2011 at 07:41 AM.. |

Re: What are your goals in life?
Ha ha, questions like this always make me slightly depressed and moody because they force me to reflect on how little I've accomplished in my life that's meaningful. I don't think I've even accomplished anything at all, even meaningless things.
One of the biggest reasons is because of lack of motivation. Right now, I honestly have no life goals at all, realistic or unrealistic, beneficial or malevolent, meaningful or pointless. I know I have the potential to accomplish amazing things when I put my mind to it, but the problem is that nothing stimulates me enough. I shudder to think what will become of me in the rest of my college years.
