Re: Xoon 5: The Transition Submissions Open
It seems files are actually judged on this version at least.

Re: Xoon 5: The Transition Submissions Open
Well the entire first part being indexable I find kinda strange, though it's not the reason why I rejected your file, don't get the wrong idea. The file as a whole didn't appeal to me and I personally thought that it could've been a bit better.

Re: Xoon 5: The Transition Submissions Open
Linus file- sorry dude I didn't really enjoy this (especially those mines aaah). has replay value though. leave it to Rebirth
Crimson whatever- you stepped Serenade <3 I wouldn't like to see freezes in piano since they drag on a bit. the 24th stream part was fun though but after that it was a bit offsync and I quit out. work on this although it's going to be hard to sync. sing sing sing (with a swing)- cool song haha. I'm not sure all of those color notes should be there but it seems onsync mostly so I'll let it slide. jumpjacks are annoying tbh, find a better way to layer in everything (I think minijacks with layering to percussion would be awesome.) you're a lot better at stepping than I remember... work on this |

It's disappointing you didn't like the jumpjacks. It's a large part of the file and changing it would ruin the way the music is expressed, IMO.

The mines are added as a challenge so you are not supposed to "enjoy" it lol.

Re: Xoon 5: The Transition Submissions Open
There are ways to make a file hard AND enjoyable
I get what you were trying to do with it though so fine although now you need to make a file like I'm so drunk. That file was fun as balls. |

Re: Xoon 5: The Transition Submissions Open
crimson flood: beginning is aids and long freezes arent necessary. dumpstream files aren't fun sry. reject.
end time: pitch relevancy off in the start. a few 16ths missed during slower parts. dumpstream comes in. quit out sing sing sing: being a jazz musician, you're getting a dumpload of brownie points from me already. fix the long jump jacks since they don't really fit with the difficulty of the file. after that, auto-accept. mad of fire: step the full version and i'll accept this lmao *****blu: freezes in the slow part seem kinda chaotic and random to me. rest of the file was really fun. accep. |
