Csenc linked me to the list of his skillboosted scores earlier today (Which were amazing), and I found a bunch of progress score dumps here so I'm just deciding to make my own. He's also telling me I should probably work on my PA since I've never actually tried. That's also probably why I should try to play FFR more.

I started testing out mania very casually in mid April of this year, and I started really playing 4k mainly in early May where I could only S low 2* osu mania 4k maps. I probably wouldn't have gotten far without being handed lots of things to play from Abraker/Hinpoopo, so I have them to thank I guess. Abraker for the 3-4* osu mania unranked maps that made me realise how crap all the ranked stuff was, and hinpoopo for a lot of SM converts and how to set up SM in general which I wouldn't have figured out on my own. I've preferably played SM converts in osu since nearly the beginning because that's where I prefer to be playing, but I've been playing SM a lot starting in late September because SM has the one thing I really need right now which is rates!

I guess to start off I've skillboosted a bit in speed/stam earlier this week and while it's disappeared for the most part, I'm catching back up to that boost level.

For Stepmania some really good ones I like in the past few days have been:

I guess some current AA-goals on SM I'm working on are: Can't stop thinking of you 1.1, O'er the flood 1.2, The violation .9, Warpledge 1.0, Hospital 1.1, Eternal Battleship 1.0, Kaguyahime 1.0, Cyber Induction 1.1


I'm usually really bad at a certain type of JS like in Burst Linker, Jersey Spirit, Fury of the Jumpstream, Icy world Pacific Girls, and Cyber induction, but I'm going to try getting better at them!

When I first downloaded stepmania I didn't know that I could just drag and drop folders into /songs so I put all the packs I downloaded into stepmania5. Therefore, SM5 contains Yolomania1,2, and Cherry Blossom pack 1.

I'm probably not going to be playing 4k very actively for a few days, so I guess this is what I have recently.

Storytime is pretty cool, but there was some kind of part in the dumpy streams with a red arrow jump that always caused me to lose a lot of acc. I held a comfy AA until the ending where I guess it caught up with me and I only ended up barely getting one. Kind of sucks - I might move up to .8 at some point in the future.



Kind of sad I lost my scary Halloween show AA at the ending of the last set of streams - they're no harder than in the rest of the song. The other time I lost AA was during a type of stream I don't even know what the patterns are. They're like 1 4 2 3 or something 5 times in a row near the end. Didn't have problems with it this time.



Haelequin 1.4 is some impossible shit, so I can only 1.33



Really really easy dump file. Trivial, but I like it. I know 1.1 would be too much for me though.



I don't know how I managed 92% on this at some point, but I'm getting nowhere near that for a good while.



.9 is too much for me to AA but I improved a whole 6% from barely A to a mid A just by fixing my greats. I still had the same ton of misses at 22!



I can't play handstream, but this was a pretty cool AA I got.



After, I tried marunouchi survivor with only slightly better results than before.



The bursts right before the last sets of the end stream dropped me from AA+50 to AA-5 and I couldn't hold on.



Finally got the Eternal battleship .9 AA I guess; I really want to play it well on 1.0 at some point.

I haven't been playing any 4k that much this week. I wouldn't say I'm demotivated but since I got mugged last saturday I just feel different.

I guess these two are goals. I need to learn to not get lost in the longer sections of veni vidi vici as well as learn to time the quickening jumptrills better.

Hero of the past 1.0 is very easily played by rolling without jumptrilling, but on 1.1 I can only keep that up for the beginning sections of the song. After a short while I can't help from jumptrilling, and even with me feeling like it was a shitty play I still got nearly 90% so I guess AAing it won't be too impossible.





I AA'd beat your heart which was the only cool AA thing I guess.



I also tried index! I'm not going to be playing that way again. Yes, I failed life1 on index.

Yeah, I was seeing so many greats in hero of the past I was sure I would have something like 85% but apparently that wasn't the case and I only went sub 90 at the end. Not sure what happened there.

I kind of want 1.05 rate on it instead.

Well I wasn't going to play 4k today but I saw that ele had gotten a lay your hands on me AA and since people called it mid d6 or something I decided to see what the file was about. Turns out it's a file entirely composed of the pattern I'm #1 at.

Following that I had two entirely clutch AA chokes of files that are at the end of my skill. I don't think I'll be getting them soon and even if I did AA I wouldn't be getting near it again soon either.





Image material .9 is now playable, I just need to get stamina.

And I guess csenc asked me to play this. The first half of the file really had me off guard when my stamina was lowered and it got harder. It's deceptively hard.

Osu mania day today with a lot of cool scores.

Should be around an AA on Unorthodox Red at this point. That's cool.

Nearly 93% on ikill is unexpected since I thought I was doing so bad on the faster streams.

I could've almost fc'd cyber induction if it weren't for the trills. This ate my stamina hard since I got 99.3% acc; I usually hang around 97-98% effortlessly.

Finally S'd Over the fullereneshift 1.1 even though I DROPPED and FAILED the first two rolls so hard down to 90%.

Jersey spirit is bad js for me but I S'd 1.2 wee

Not sure why I didn't screenshot it, but Image material 240 bpm (Like .92 rate?) was 94% so that was nice too.

I still haven't been playing much as I would hope to, but I had a good, long session today.

In terms of AA's:

These aren't JS I'm good with at all, so I'm lucky that the ending saved my ass and I finally AA'd 1.1

These are just meh AA's that were overdue.







Grief and malice 1.3 was unexpected! I can definitely improve this



Time bomb 1.4 is still impossible


I think I had around 96% before the ending - It's kind of sad but I can get better at this.

I failed we luv lama 1.0 on life1. These trilly split js I-don't-know-what-they-are are the worst type of JS pattern for me and it shows. Yeah sure I can hold around an AA to half of it, but that dissapears quickly in the second half.



Then I ended my session on Uta .9; Held 87%ish constant until halfway and then my stamina died and I dropped to 74%. I should focus on .8. Who the fuck AA's this on 1.0 there's no breaks.
