Anyone ever entered a DDR tournament

I just attended one in Ohio this past weekend with a friend-it was fun! Was too nervous to try myself-maybe next time.

yea i entered one before... a lot of people sucked and didn't know what do to. i made it to the semi finals and lost on cartoon heroes =[ dam that song!!

I did about five. Four on Machine and 1 on pad. Won 2.

One was for the Michigan State Championship a long time ago. I qualified but didn't go. Heck I don't know if they still did it.

I entered a local one at a bowling alley in 2006 or so. I wound up taking third by one Perf and getting $30.

Yes, but some other ITG players I know always enter. In other words, they beat me. I really only have a chance if I go somewhere people suck or I enter a tournament that no good player would actually bother with.

I did a DDR one back in the day, but some douchebag was sandbagging and I couldnt beat her (since back then i could only do standard)

I won both DDR tournaments that my school hosted over the years that I attended -- the first tournament though was really close. Some chick I was battling was like just as good as I was on foot.

I participated in 5 tournaments as far as I can remember. 3 of them were on an 8th mix, 1 on SuperNOVA and 1 on SuperNOVA 2. I only won 1 of the 8th mixes tournaments dough, the rest were like 3rd or 4th places. >_>
