How do you warm up before playing FFR?
Pretty sure there is a thread that was made already about this, but I'm having trouble finding it. Anyways, before I play FFR, I like to get about a good 30 minutes of Stepmania in. How about you?

Hmm, I don't do anything special to warm up. I figure that my first couple of games in a sitting are my warm-up games. This goes for any game, actually, not just FFR (Stepmania, Rock Band, etc).

I just play normally for the most part. On occasion I'll start out with 12s on the engine here to warm up a little faster.

I don't. I hit random 70-99 and hope for the best.
I find 90-99 is the best to warm up on though, it shocks your system into playing better for some reason. |

A good old Fap loosens the wrist, that's how I warm up.

Re: How do you warm up before playing FFR?
Gotta go easy on the hands and potential hand cramps so I start on the 15s (low difficulty scale). Mess with that level for a while, then move to the 18-19s. I can play FFR for a long time after that regimen.

Wrist was singular lol
Anyways, I usually play a few easier songs to warm up, focusing on accuracy. Doesn't really work to well though. |

Warm up with low 13s/mid 13s. Move on to high 13s/low 14s, that's my warmup.

Re: How do you warm up before playing FFR?
I have three personal options I do when I warm up:
1. 95% of the time, I would use my stress ball to loosen up the muscles in my hands so that way, your muscles are more prepared and warm before you play. 2. If I have no stress ball, I would start off with a moderate-easy file first (I recommend files with jacks) to get my fingers moving and warm BEFORE I start playing the harder songs. This is a really good way to not screw up your hands as easily since your muscles loosens up while you were doing the easier files. Yes, you CAN warm up by just playing easy/moderate-hard files. You do not have to start with an insane file to warm up. In fact, I DO NOT recommend it as it could cause injury to the hands but that is up to the user obviously. 3. I go out and exercise or fap before I play FFR. These works the best because while you are doing one of these, muscles all over your entire body are loose which makes your performance even better. Also, what you eat in the morning (or throughout the day) are also important factors.
