D2 song is quite nice, feels well synced to the song.

If I was gonna spend a lot of time whoring any of these songs, I would want it to be D2. It's a joy to listen to. |

The weird 16th mini/handjacks are so troll. I liked Infinity better.

lol, glad you like the song, was a neat find on our artist permissions list. Was actually being stepped as a harder xmod chart for an sm pack. But when the easy batch opened, I watered it down and threw it to ffr~

D4 song was way too easy. I knew the song would be easier coming off of Addict, but I didn't expect it to take this little time for me to AAA it. It took me more tries to AAA the D3 song than the D4 song. -Minijacks merging into hands *shudders*-
Gotta say, this is a REALLY FUN round. My only problem is the D3 song, which I am biased against because I hate minijacks. I look forward to the tiebreaker song for D4. |

D5's file is pretty hilarious, song choice is hilarious and it's definitely a kick in the balls challenge for D5. |

Wow there are a ton of good ones this week. A FLOWER GARDEN is really sweet - an unusual song that a bit too challenging for my level but a ton of fun to play anyway. The D2 and D3 songs were also a lot of fun.

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
D3: Chart is rather dickish. I'm annoyed that (according to him) the judges made him Minijack those things. They ****ed up a good chart. No offense EN. I know your original had to be a lot better. I saw you didn't jack things at the intro and was happy. Then I saw the minijacks and wanted to thrash my keyboard about in rage.
D5: Song's perfectly fine the chart though is a major wtf. I'm neutral on it I guess. Neat but at the same time it's a cluster ****. I happened to nail the trill though So I don't see what the issue with it is... Last edited by Xx{Midnight}xX; 07-15-2012 at 01:29 AM.. |

What in the hell happened to CS Custom Gun Sounds, that is not the chart I accepted. I loved the original chart, this one I'm going to be honest, I can't stand it. Also I coulda swore it was a collab...

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
Oh my goodness, what is with these difficulty progressions? D2's song is a 15 point jump from last round and is pretty damn harsh. D3... I feel so sorry for D3. And what happened to the original chart? The original was way better and much more linear in difficulty compared to this one (sorry EN <3).
D4 is way too easy, likely a AAA or die, and D6 will likely fall in the same shoes (as MikeShinoda pointed out, 31 people AAA'd last round and only 32 go on this round, with many people finding this one easier than Spoils). D1 is fitting, and D5 is just funny. |

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
I might actually be able to AAA D4's song. Who knows. Gonna take me a lot of tries though, I keep screwing up at random places.

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
D6's song seemed more fitting for D5 since it's completely fluent in its nature and has no spikes at all. This is more of a relief round.
D5's song was funny lol. D4's song is much easier than Addict. So, it's pretty much AAA or die along with D6. Haven't played the rest but will do so soon.

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
D1: I played this while going through my levelranks and didn't pay much attention, I remember I liked the song though.
D2: Insomnia was a lot of fun, nice job. D3: Got one good and booed out, terrible song, stepfile was alright. D4: I don't have much to say about this, pretty good file. D5: FLOWER GARDEN has quite a few fun parts in it. I loved the jump/jack 16ths, which was weird because I normally HATE jacks. I know the file is going to irritate some D5 players though haha. Song was meh. D6: Since 1983 was a lot of fun too. I love fast streams and poly-rhythms, probably one of my favorite stepfiles in the game now. <3. |

Re: FFR 7th Official Tourney Songs Discussion: Round 2
Not sure if D4 will reach 48 AAAs by the end of the round (70% or so of the round AAAs usually come in the first 24h, so that'll be an indicator), but in retrospect, yeah it's easier than Addict Remix.
D6 will have a low cutoff since everyone's a speedy mofo ~_~ |
