As said, not true, this was a bug and not intentional long ago, but I fixed it awhile ago.

it's a much faster way of getting credits than actually playing
or a much faster way of losing credits than just sending all of yours to an account that doesn't exist, this seems to be most peoples case xd (don't let this discourage you from gambling (i want ur credits))

but yea it's 50/50 odds

Here's an idea for eliminating some credits.

Secret songs are still unlocked by credits, but they can be -purchased- for the same amount it takes to unlock them. For example, Staring at my Spaceship takes 120,000 credits to unlock. In other words, as long as your account has 120,000 credits to it's name, you can play the file.

To eliminate some credits, allow the user to spend another 120,000 credits to permanently unlock the file. By this, if you have 140,000, spend the 120,000, you can have 20,000 credits on your account and still have access to the file. It will be like purchasing songs *out of order* and having to navigate far into the genre to find the song you just purchased. This will essentially make secret songs -cost- twice what they already do. Then with the excess credits on accounts, they can be distributed to tournaments with no risk of losing access to all the songs.

Seeing you burn 210 calories an hour, you'll convert 5 bucks 50 into 3238.83857 credits.
This means one credit is worth about 17/100 of a cent.

Total $ = Credits * 0.0017
