Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
They work in SM 3.9/3.95, but man I haven't worked with those in a long goddamn time. I'm not sure my issue with tripping mines would be solved with negative stops, but I can try.

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
AJ I've had that issue before, and it has to do with the proximity of the warps. sometimes if arrows are too close (from above) to where the warp lands, it'll trigger somehow because it didn't warp far enough ahead. This might not be what's giving you a hard time though. Otherwise I'd suggest shifting a 64th down maybe.
the negative stops won't work either way I don't think

I think I may redo the steps for one of my gimmicky files and rerelease it in this pack!

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
Hope you enjoy it. It's not as bad as it could be - I went a bit easy on a few spots that had the potential for additional x-mod shit and jacks. Still, I'm guessing Oni will be one of the harder charts in this pack.

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
I actually returned nearly a month ago complete with a new simfile. The file is probably easy by today's standards, but my future works will accommodate today's Stepmania players, in both 4key and 6key. I've even taken an interest in playing 6key myself, though I'm currently very terrible at it. My thread is currently on page 2 of this forum.
Regarding my previously mentioned simfile (it's 5.8.8, by the way), I'm not so sure about it anymore. I think the mp3 isn't perfect; it may have been recorded from gameplay rather than ripped from the OST. There is one piano note in my mp3 which comes a 16th note sooner than it does in the OST version (and I think it sounds really cool that way), but the rest of the song sounds fine as far as I can tell. I'm not sure if I want to release it because anyone who is familiar with the song might be caught off guard and wonder why I used a messed up mp3 lol. |

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
Can files which are being submitted to this also be released singly before the pack is released? Like if I finish a file and send it to you, can I also release it on my own thread, or do I need to wait until this pack is released before doing so?

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
I don't mind taking things that have been released as singles, but would much prefer to have as much as possible not already be released. Just because to me it creates more hype for the pack.

Tried another concept on Syntax and it's working! I'm really excited to see how this is going to turn out
It's pretty tricky to read, haha. |
