Default Problem with PS/2 Keyboards

I'm planning to get a cheap keyboard in the future, probably the Logitech UltraX. The problem with it is that it uses PS/2 for its wires and not USB. Does anyone know any good PS/2 to USB adapters and, if not, anyone know any keyboards less than $40?

There's pretty much no reason to bother. PS/2 is great. All good high-end mechanical keyboards will either have PS/2 instead or along with USB.

"That just will not do." was keywii's response as she lunged for the scissors, pulled the blades apart, and clamped them down on the base of foil's shaft. Blood start gushing out of the wound where his penis used to be.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yelled Foil in horror.
"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.

You can probably find one for less than 5 dollars on newegg. Your computer doesn't have any ps2 ports at all? I know laptops don't anymore, but towers typically still have them.

Logitech Ultra X Flat or Ultra X Premium? Both should have models that are either PS/2 or USB (in fact, PS/2 versions for those keyboards are...hard to come by I thought?)

I have a tower that only has USB ports, video ports (VGA and DVI-D), RJ-45 port, audio jacks, and no other ports -- period. The PS/2 port is on the way out, as the serial and parallel ports have done, and as the MIDI/Game port has done before them.

Similarly PCI is on the way out (replaced with PCIe), DDR2 is on the way out (replaced with DDR3), and IDE/PATA is on the way out (replaced with SATA).

You can certainly buy PS/2 to USB converters (though oddly they may be labeled oppositely -- USB to PS/2, though they convert PS/2 keyboards/mice to USB). The one I have introduces a bit of lag though. I don't know that any "good" (lag-free) option exists.

For someone who has only USB ports, I'd recommend just buying a decent wired USB keyboard. Wireless is worthless though it's a bit harder to find wired.
