I first played DDR when my brother's friend came over. He bought his PS2, his games, and his dance pad. And thats when I first played...I didn't really like it then, but after I played it at my friend's house, played FFR and stepmania I started to like the "dancing games"...now I play stepmania all the time.

I first played it when i went at peter pipers. I couldn't do anything and i was clueless. I played again about a year later (knowing what i was doing) and fell in love with it.

A friend of mine sudgested I try it (after watching him play a few times) about a year ago. After struggling with it for a an hour or two, I fell in love with it.

I was at the bowling alley for a party becaue my aunt's funeral was that morning and I saw an empty DDR Extreme machine. w00t! I had been playing FFR before this so I wanted to play for the first time. First songs: I DO I DO I DO,
1998, and Graduation(because I didnt know how to get the other songs). After this I was hooked and the next month I bought DDR MAX 2 and learned how to play. Now I'm the second best DDR player in VB!

A party after your aunt's funeral.. Makes sense....

First time I played would be at the arcade.. it was when DDRMax had just come out.. I thought it was cool so I asked for it for christmas.. About after I got it for christmas I fell in love with it..

I started last year on Christmas Eve when my older brother got the game. I didn't think i would like it, but I ended up loving it. Of course, i kept on slipping on our piece of crap pads, but it was still fun. Now me and my brother play at Laser Quest or at any arcade that has it.

the very first time I played it was at playdium in vancouver, which was a bad idea since I had to play by my self because my brother didn't want to play, and there is always a pretty big crowd wathcing since the screen is so big (if youve been there then you know what I mean) it was pretty embarrising since i failed like 10 seconds into the first song. Then abouuutt 2 and half years later I played it again and got addicted after like the 2nd song

About 4 years ago I saw the game at an arcade downtown in Montreal called Arcade 1,000,000. And I saw some asian people at the time playing it (of course I didnt know what to call them but losers) and I was tempted to play so were my friends but we chickened out.

Then I learned about FFR when it first came out and I was like hey I know this game so last year I had my friend over to play some SM and FFR and what not. Im like "got money on you?" he said yeah I said alright lets go to the arcades and play DDR and we did XD

Says something about all those other people who go around calling us 'losers' lol.

My first try was on a dare actually...(damn i sound like some kid). some friends and I got out of a movie and we went past the arcade and saw some people playing it and they go "yung i'd LOVE to see you even TRY that"... so well...I did, and of course I looked like an idiot lmao, but yeah after that i was like "damn i gotta go do that again..." and that's how it all started.

My friend Trevor brought over his X-Box, Pad, and Konimix, and that's when I got hooked. My first songs I think were Castles in the Sky followed by Shiny Disco Balls then Orion .78 (Civilization Mix).

The first time I played was at an arcade, I forgot which mix it was. The first song I ever played was It's Raining Men. I loved it ever since (i mean ddr, not the song).

The first time I played was at Disney Quest. One of the older machines like 3rd or 4th mix, but I didn't know what the hell to do. 5 years later, I started playing DDR MAX2 in a bowling alley right by my school.

My brother told me about it even though he never played it, but on day I went to the arcade and tried it out. My first song ever was Secret Rendez Vous, wich is too slow for me.
