I find the side by side 3d much easier than stereograms, but I can see both.
Being able to do this is also useful in "spot the difference" games

yep. the side by side images are a lot easier because you just have to bring the right photo on the left one, done.

I did this method for those type of games as well haha

Try looking off into the distance when you're looking at it
Eventually you'll find a disparity in depth; try and hold that and see if your eyes adjust. Stereograms are personally really hard for me compared to the side-by-side images
