A Beautiful Day For Golf (MarioNintendo) - Really short file, but nothing wrong with it as far as I can tell. Sure, I guess. But let's see what the other judges have to say.

Balrog's Theme (cedolad) - As much as I hate to say it, I really don't like this song. I never have. The chart is solid and I don't have any complaints with it. For now it's a yes.

Yeah honestly if we're going to step Balrog's theme I'd probably use a better version of it haha. :P But TY Cedolad. I'll work on a chart and gfx for it and if anything else we could just send it to Stepping Stones 3 lol.

I sent some fixes for act 1 - verytex, and re-sent A Beautiful Day For Golf (same stepchart, but added a bgmovie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

Edit: I don't know if it will do the job, but I stole some quality artwork for Shovel Knight Main Theme, have a look, and add it to the file if you find it ok!

Sent in another file! I'm a little bit iffy on the lower difficulty, but I guess I'll see how you all find it.

I also don't really know which of the files I sent in should be considered to have "placeholder graphics". This most recent one is definitely one, and I guess the two Undertale songs I sent with the longer titles are also somewhat placeholders unless you actually want to use them :P

btw I saw someone mention the 2nd half is kinda repetitive.

While I agree, I have failed (numerous times) to come up with a way to spice it up. The only thing I could do is literally destroy some sense of cohesion to the file, which would be really fitting in a sense. Even after coming back to it for a while, I am drawing a blank.

That said, these graphics are fuckin' sick.

I believe it was 2 yes and 1 yes/conditional (Tsuka). As it currently sits, it's a good file. He'd have to play it again and get back to you on what he had in mind for it.

Exactly what rhythm games are off limits? I have some ideas, but they from rhythm games.

Bemani and Andamiro rhythm games in general (DDR, Pump It Up, Beatmania, Para Para, etc). There are also licensed songs in use by the Harmonix games which wouldn't be acceptable since they're not really 'video game' songs, just featured in a video game.

Your best bet will be to send one of the judges a message with your song/idea to see if it would be acceptable for the pack.

I personally would say that you'd probably be safe with anything that's a completely original OST for a rhythm game, like anything from the Rhythm Heaven series. Either way though, I agree with Tsuka that you should ask first.

I already sent a PM to Tsuka. I'm mainly asking if music from rhythm games that are not in the same vein as the bemani games would be okay. Think along the lines of Space Channel 5.
