Overprotective parents?.....
I've seen this so many times i wanted to ask why.....
Parents taking care of their children too much...whats the reason for it?...If they child trips off lets say a log and there is no harm done...why do they act as if they are completely beat up? Why are they so worried about? I've seen parents so worried even if they go on field trips for the school day!! What is the reason parents are so darn worried about??

You have an example of this that actually happened? Or was it just your mind speaking.

Re: Overprotected parents?.....
Maybe the parents have had past experiences.
Or a lost in the family in the past and are scared to lose a child, or they love them very much. If not that they're probably challenged. |

Re: Overprotected parents?.....
Because they don't want their children to end up ****ed up and/or hurt. My parents aren't THAT over protective, but there's a lot of things I can't do without them or their permission.

Talk to your friend about that, ask her if any incidents has happen before in the family. Just don't ask her right out of no where. That's obnoxious. EDIT: haha "Loot You" |

for guys, it generally isn't as big of a deal... for girls... better to be over-protected than raped.

Re: Overprotected parents?.....
My parents are over-protected, after the whole witness protection incident and the whole mafia wanting to kill them thing. Now they have plenty of protection from the government and private contractors!

Re: Overprotected parents?.....
Come to think of it, my parents aren't protective at all. (Doesn't notice my suicide attempts, doesn't say much about my failing junior grades etc.)
On the contrary, my mom plays FFR and SM with me. We also beat Kirby All Star and Super Mario World together. lol. Dad plays Dragonquest and Earthbound, stuff like that. Carefree and like children.
