I'm not sure I understand the question fully- what reason is there to remove or replace FFRCP at all? It's a perfect catch all type of pack that encompasses what the community should be doing.
GD, is the DL count getting to you? If you wouldn't mind you could post the numbers (or estimates if theyre all gone now because of MU) because I think you're overreacting a little. A pack's DLs are a flow, not a constant amount that is realized within one week of forumgoers reading the release thread. Have you forgotten that newcomers will always exist? Besides, there isn't an incredibly large amount of talent running amok around here. I think it's best to keep a continually stable source of files in a pack that is available to everybody to submit to and appeals to everybody to play (the decision to enforce easy difficulties on most files is an excellent choice in my opinion). Outliers can produce their own specific projects like anime only, dubstep only, dark chancellors only (lol) etc. Now ima let ma boy drop it |
