Default Programming Flash games in MX 2004

I know how to program Flash games to an extent, but I am wondering how one would go making an FFRish game [ i.e. loading songs and charts ] I am not looking to make a Flash DDR clone, but I am looking to create a flash based music game, and I was wondering how I would easily add/remove dongs from a database. I am also wondering a few other things, but can ask later

I know your question is serious but "easily add/remove dongs from a database"?

I can only go so far into depth with how it is done but basically you should start on the outside and look into using php, asp etc in order to move information in and out of flash. Get comfortable with that first.

Cheers,

Ahh, I was thinking it'd be something like that actually. I was wondering [ to be more specific ] if it is possible to tell a flash app to load a .swf file and play it inside itself. I know this sounds messy, but then I can easily create the songs and whatnot, then only have to mod the original file a tiny bit, or even just use a .txt file. I remember getting flash to load a certan image from my HDD when I was using flash 4 if I recall... loading an .swf file from a server would not be that much more diffucult no?

Thanks for the reply btw
