Everyone here is just kind of ignoring this guys preferences and posting awesome anime that he might not necessarily enjoy.

Pirate the first three eps of whatever, and if you like it go buy it. No reason to buy a Baccano DVD and watch it for exactly 5 minutes before wait this isn't funny or romantic oh god that guy just had his face ground against the train tracks EJECT EJECT D:

ps lmfao air gear

I'm not much help since you dont really like "action action anime". I love action action!

Not helpful post +1

(Insert how if I could be in an anime, I'd be in Paranoia Agent so I could skate around clubbing people with a golden bat )

I didn't say I dont like action anime, I just perfer comedy. Action comedy = treasure

Went to best buy. I have shana, and I also bought maburaho (Anyone have any opinions about this?). A friend said its good. I guess we will see. Hey guys.... end cost... 81$.

I can't find Zero No Tsukaima Anywhere and I really want to see this in a form I can understand other than Chinese/Japanese. Cant find bakemonogatari and I heard is decent. Found Gunslinger Girl, Girl leapt through time and some others. But most are like 40 some bux. Found a couple of other thins to thats on that massive list on page 1... but I think Ill spend 81 Bux first. What can I say? Im a collector.

I also saw one called witchblade. I think thats what its called... witch something.... Hows that.

Zero No Tsukaima's a good show.

As far as comedies go, The Irresponsible Captain Tylor is of course my favorite, but you won't be finding that in any Best Buy most likely. It's my favorite anime ever and is incredibly endearing, so if you can find it, I highly recommend picking it up.

On the COMPLETELY other end of the spectrum, I'll just recommend Now and Then Here and There. One of the best shows I've ever seen, despite how depressing and horrifying it can be. It's only thirteen episodes, too, so it won't break the bank. Just throwing that out there if you want a break from the lighthearted comedies.

Badass action+gut-wrenching comedy= Hajime no Ippo. You can't like anime and not enjoy this anime. It's just not possible.

It all depends on personal taste. I wouldn't recommend buying a whole bunch of random anime that ppl suggest and end up not liking most of them. Unless you're very optimistic and enjoy a lot of things...

Otherwise I suggest:
Kanon 2006
Toradora
Honey and Clover
Nodame Cantabile
True Tears
Ouran Highschool host club
Full metal panic!? Fumoffu
Clannad
Bakemonogatari
Air
The girl who leapt through time

Watch the anime on the internet then buy the ones you like.
I skip the buying portion though.

Yea, old roomate's girlfriend told me to download and claimed it was good. Watched first episode and thought it was the dumbest **** ever. Which is why it is dropped at episode 1.

I rarely delete things so It is still there.
