Re: Deadfish Riddle
If only the hint contained an encryption key that riddle would be solved in 5 seconds haha.
Still very salty because I'm nearly there and then taking the next step disproves my previous steps and it is one giant clusterfuck. EDIT: Done, I'm not getting any further.

Re: Deadfish Riddle
aapa
aa flvv mmavt hhpcg I've exhausted every resource I could you say the first letter is unchanged. Could you be super-specific? The first character's the letter "h", does this mean all "h"s are constant? Or is it only the first "h" which remains unchanged? wouldn't it be more easier if it were consistent? This h is a h, but those other h's are just posers. couldn't the alpha h just stop trying to be so edgy and fit in with it's brothers, we know he's the main h anyways I've been staring at your thread for nearly 10 hours, I'm losing it Last edited by Mourningfall; 05-18-2015 at 07:38 PM.. |

Re: Deadfish Riddle
What you got is what I have. I'm assuming it means the first "h" is unchanged. Although if no one gets anywhere with that I would assume it means all the "h's". Leaning more towards the prior though.

Re: Deadfish Riddle
I'm just being pedantic. when I can't find the answers I deconstruct the questions.
It's sort of a "I obviously don't understand what I'm doing or else I'd have made some form of progress by now" kind of thing.. ^^ Sometimes over analyzing to gain a clearer understanding can leave you with less cognizance than when you began. I'm gonna leave it and come back when I can think, good luck to anyone else trying. Last edited by Mourningfall; 05-18-2015 at 07:57 PM.. Re: Deadfish Riddle
#3 looks tough...it doesn't seem to be a basic simple substitution cipher.
