It was a really weird experience because I wasn't high or anything, the music is just that soporific

Lots of good picks here!

Whenever I need to focus on a work related task, my magical album is Fallen by Evanescence. Don't ask me why, it always does the trick! I guess it puts me in a complete state of dread where I don't fear the consequences of doing a "bad job", so I just start executing.

When I actually want to listen to music, albums from Neal Morse really make me feel at ease (in particular, Question Mark, similitude of a dream, sola scriptura)

And I have to give a shoutout to In the Court of the Crimson King, the album that just keeps on giving.

I really want to list so many more albums, damn. Music is such a gift.

At a concert, but I still end up youtubing individual tracks when I want to listen to one. I otherwise don't think I've -owned- in any form, a full album of -anything- since I was a teenager.

I think "warrant" isn't the right word to use here.
Solid pick. I've listened to We Like It Here for a solid month before switching to anything else. Guess it's time for a revisit!

The keyboard solo in Lingus is one of the most transcendental pieces of performance I think I've ever seen.
